Day to day Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Mumbai
Traditional welcome by our executive on your arrival at Mumbai’s airport followed by transfer to the hotel.

Day 02: Mumbai
Breakfast at the hotel.
Start your day with the excursion to Elephant Island by cruise from Gateway of India which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Marvel at the rock-cut cave temples with sculptured interiors dating back to the 6th century. A highlight is the Mahesamurti, a triple-headed Shiva statue. By afternoon return back to the city and have your lunch.

Afternoon enjoy the your city tour visiting the Prince of Wales Museum to enjoy its excellent collection of ancient Indus Valley artifacts dating back to 2000 BC, in addition to priceless Tibetan and Nepali Art followed by Mani Bhawan, the former residence of Mahatma Gandhi that includes a reference library with over 2,000 books, a photo exhibition of Gandhi’s life and an old charkha or spinning wheel that Gandhi used. Afterward, view the colossal Dhobi Ghat, Mumbai’s outdoor hand laundry and enjoy a drive on the Marine Drive.

Day 03: Mumbai – Hyderabad (By Flight)
After breakfast in time transfer to the airport to connect flight to Hyderabad.
At Hyderabad airport you will be met by our representative who will assist you for transfer to your hotel. Balance of the day free at leisure.

Day 04: Hyderabad
Breakfast at the hotel.
Proceed for guided tour of Hyderabad visiting the Birla Mandir, Charminar, Salar Jung Museum, Chowmahella Palace, Mecca Masjid, Shopping at Laad Bazaar.
Then visit the Golconda Fort a majestic monument on the western outskirts of the city. The fortress is built on a granite hill 120 metres high, surrounded by massive crenellated ramparts.

Day 05: Hyderabad – Bijapur (By Surface: 390 kms / 6-7 hrs)
Morning after breakfast check out and start with your drive to Bijapur.
On reaching Bijapur check in to your hotel and relax after a long drive.

Day 06: Bijapur – Badami (By Surface: 125 kms / 2-3 hrs)
After an early breakfast visit the Gol Gumbaz, the most important attraction of Bijapur. It is the second largest dome in the world without any pillar support, the dome is an engineering marvel.
Later continue drive to Badami and on arrival check in to your hotel. Badami is well known for its rich history and ancient architecture. It was the ancient capital of the early Chalukya kingdom. A number of richly carved monuments and caves belonging to Chalukyas, dating back to the 6th and 7th centuries can be found here.
Balance of the day at leisure.

Day 07: Badami
Breakfast at the hotel.

Proceed for your sightseeing tour visiting the famous Badami Rock-cut Cave Temples. These temples have been carved out on the red sandstone hills that surround the town. There are four cave temples at Badami. These temples date back to the 6th and 7th centuries AD and ornately carved with figures of Hindu deities. Three temples are dedicated to Hindu gods. The fourth one is a Jain temple and was built much later. Near these caves lies the 5th-century Agastyatirtha Tank, dotted with Bhoothnath temples, dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Then visit the Pattadakkal and Aihole Temples.

Day 08: Badami – Hospet (By Surface: 140 kms / 2-3 hrs)
After breakfast check out and drive to Hospet. Check in to your hotel.
The balance of the day will be at leisure and for independent activities.

Day 09: Hospet – Hampi – Hospet
Today after breakfast proceed for a excursion to Hampi.
Hampi is charismatic even in its ruined state. It attracts thousands of tourists every year. Vast stretches of boulder-strewn hills make the backdrop of Hampi unique. Dotted around the hills and valleys are 500 plus monuments. Among them are beautiful temples, basements of palaces, remains of aquatic structures, ancient market streets, royal pavilions, bastions, royal platforms, treasury buildings and the list is endless.
Also visit the Vijaya Vittala Temple, Virupaksha Temple, Mint House, Lotus Mahal, Elephant Stables, Hazara Rama Temple, Queen’s bath, Anegundi and Anjana Parvatha.
By evening return back to your hotel.

Day 10: Hospet – Hassan (By Surface: 350 kms / 6-7 hrs)
Breakfast at the hotel. Then check out and drive to Hassan. On reaching Hassan check in to the hotel.
The remaining day would be free to relax after a long drive.

Day 11: Hassan – Mysore (By Surface: 130 kms / 2-3 hrs)
Moring after breakfast proceed to visit the Belur and Halebid Temples the splendid evidences of Hoysala architecture.

Later in the afternoon drive to Mysore en-route visiting Saravanabelagola, the famous Jain pilgrim centre & one of the oldest in India. The place is known as one of the greatest monuments of Jain art. The colossal statue of Gommateswara with a height of 57 feet is situated on the summit of Indragiri hill. It is one of the two giant sculptures in the world, after the Collosus Ramses II in Egypt.
Continue with your drive further to Mysore – the palace city of South India. On arrival at Mysore check in to hotel.

Day 12: Mysore
Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning visit the Somnathpur – a tiny village on the banks of the Kaveri. Here in this everlasting rural stillness, like a milestone to eternity, stood one of the last and the grandest of Hoysala monuments – the Kesava Temple built 740 years ago.
In the afternoon enjoy the visit to the Mysore Palace, The Zoological Park, Chamundi Hills and in the evening visit the illuminated famous Brindavan Gardens.

Day 13: Mysore – Bangalore (By Surface: 145 kms / 2-3 hrs)
Today after breakfast check out and drive to Bangalroe en-route visiting Srirangapatna – the historic captital of Tipu Sultan known for his struggle against British rule.

Continue your drive to Bangalore and on arrival check in to your hotel. Evening free for independent activities.

Day 14: Bangalore – Mumbai depart (By Flight)
Morning proceed for city tour of Bangalore visting the Vidhana Soudha – This splendid neo-Dravidian granite building which dominates the northern boundary of the Cubbon Park, is the home of the State Legislature and the Secretariat. Cubbon Park – Situated in the heart of the Bangalore city, the park was laid by Lord Cubbon in the year 1864. Also inside Cubbon Park is the state library. The Bull Temple – The Bull Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva/’s Vahana (vehicle), Nandi the bull. Lal Bagh – A botanical garden which houses over 1000 species of flora which include rare and enchanting collection of tropical plants, trees and herbs.

Afternoon transfer to airport to board flight for Mumbai. On arrival in Mumbai straight proceed to international terminal to board flight for onward journey back home.
