Day To Day Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Traditional welcome by our executive on your arrival at Delhi’s airport followed by transfer to the hotel.
Overnight at hotel in Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi
Breakfast at the hotel.
Today morning explore and experience the capital of Muslim India between the 12th and 20th centuries, the Old Delhi. We shall stop at the Red Fort for a photo shoot and then take a Rickshaw ride through the narrow streets of the Old Delhi up to the nearby Jama Masjid Mosque, the largest in India, has a courtyard that can hold 25,000 worshippers. The pay a poignant visit to Rajghat, the site of Mahatma Gandhi’s cremation and a memorial to this humble man who so changed the world.

In the afternoon we explore India’s bustling capital city the New Delhi visiting the Vijay Chowk, “Victory Square”, stopover at the Presidential Palace with its intriguing combination of classical and Indian design elements and the India Gate memorializing Indian soldiers who died in World War I. Then travel far back in time at Humayun’s Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage Site dating from 1570 AD and the first garden-tomb on the Indian sub-continent and lastly visit the Qutab Minar, the tallest brick minaret in the world.

Day 03: Delhi – Leh (By Flight)
Early transfer to the airport to connect flight to Leh.
At Leh airport you will be assisted for transfer to your hotel. We advise to keep the day free to rest and relax at the hotel to acclimatize to high altitude and low oxygen levels.

Day 04: Leh
Morning after breakfast, proceed for a half day tour visiting the Leh Palace, Leh Gompa and local bazaar.

Afternoon an excursion to Spituk, Phyang and Shankar Gompas.

Day 05: Leh
Today we proceed for a full day excursion to Shey, Thiksey and Hemis Gompas.

By evening return back to your hotel.

Day 06: Leh – Saspol
After breakfast leave for Saspol en-route visit Likir Gompa.

Later in afternoon visit Alchi Gompa and the village.
Overnight stay at the Camps.

Day 07: Saspol – Lamayuru – Leh
In the morning leave for Lamayuru After early breakfast leave for Lamayuru which located (66 kms / 2 hrs approx) with packed lunch. Visit monastery and retrace the route back to Leh which around (128 kms / 4 hrs approx).

On reaching Leh check in to your hotel.

Day 08: Leh – Nubra Valley via Khardung-la
Early morning start the drive from Leh to Nubra (07 hrs. approx).

The Nubra valley lies in the north of Leh and is accessible over the Khardungla (5570 M) – The highest motorable road in the world. The valley is on trade route from Leh to Kyagar via Saser and Karakoram passes. Apart from unparalleled trekking opportunities the valley houses several Monasteries such as Sumur (khagar) and 350 years old Dikshit Gompa – famous for its Murals.

From Khardungla drive to village of Khardung and through starkly beautiful country side to the TCP at Khalsar where permits have to be registered/checked. Arrive at the camps.
Overnight stay at the Camps.

Day 09: Nubra
Morning visit Sumur, Kyagar, Panamik hot water spring, Samasthanling, Tirith and the surrounding area.
Overnight stay at the Camps.

Day 10: Nubra – Leh
After breakfast visit Diskit and Hunder gompas. Then proceed your drive back to Leh.

On reaching Leh check in to your with balance of the day free.
Overnight stay at hotel in Leh.

Day 11: Leh
Breakfast at the hotel.
Then proceed to visit Stok Palace and Museum. Return to Leh en-route visiting SOS Tibetan Refugee Camp at Choglamsar.

Afternoon will be free for independent activities.
Overnight stay at hotel in Leh.

Day 12: Leh – Delhi (By Flight)
Morning in time transfer to the airport to connect flight for Delhi.

At Delhi airport you will assisted for transfer to your hotel.
Overnight at hotel in Delhi.

Day 13: Delhi depart
In time transfer to the airport to connect your flight for onward journey from India.
